About Belinda

Belinda joined Great Clips, Inc. in January 2006 and currently serves as the Southeastern Senior Real Estate Manager, overseeing new salon development across Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and parts of Tennessee. In this role, she manages, supports, and guides franchisees through the site selection and leasing process, helping drive the brand’s growth in key Southeastern markets.

Belinda brings more than three decades of deep expertise in commercial real estate, with specialized strengths in landlord negotiations, maintaining industry relationships, market strategy, and franchise development. Prior to joining Great Clips, Belinda built a strong foundation in commercial real estate through leasing and redevelopment roles with major national REITs, including Regency Centers, L.P., JDN Realty Corporation, Developers Diversified (post-merger), and Weingarten Realty Management Company. During her time at Regency Centers, L.P., she also served as the exclusive agent for Grow Biz International, successfully negotiating franchise leases that led to the opening of 38 Georgia locations for brands such as Play It Again Sports, Computer Renaissance, Plato’s Closet, and Once Upon a Child.

Belinda is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Retail Live, regularly attending both regional and local events to represent Great Clips while maintaining strong industry connections.

A native of Houston, Texas, Belinda moved to Atlanta in 1987 and holds a BA in English and History from Sam Houston State University. She is married, the proud mother of two sons, and grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys decorating, gardening, and spending quality time with her family and friends including her crazy book club and outings with her neighborhood friends! Belinda is passionate about her work and whom she calls “the best franchisees in the business” bringing both heart and expertise to everything she does.
